Pit Bike Short Track Challenge
Diamond Don Rainey announces new event on Thursday, April 11, 2019: Pit Bike Short Track Challenge – any bike under 100cc qualifies. Registration opens at 2:00 pm, Practice starts at 3:00 pm. Separate fee of $35. Proof of medical insurance, boots & helmet required. NOTE: no riders under 18 permitted for this event. Net proceeds benefit Jefferson Railway & Wetlands Foundation and support youth activities in Jefferson. Trophy presentation 60 minutes after finish of final moto, in the pavilion.
Charity Golf Skills Shootout
Thursday, April 11, 2019: Charity Golf Skills Shootout – overlooking the Big Cypress Bayou – with Legends of Motocross. John Gott – Golf Chairman. Sponsored by 2Brothers Racing and BulliBone Dog Chews. Registration 10:00 am; Tee-off 11:00 am; beverages provided (beer and water). Bucket of Balls $20. Net proceeds benefit Jefferson Railway & Wetlands Foundation and support youth activities in Jefferson. Trophy presentation in pavilion
2019 BA Motorsports Battle on the Bayou
Due to popular demand, the Battle on the Bayou races on Saturday and Sunday will only race 100cc bikes. Vintage and Post-Vintage only – no modern. 200cc WILL NOT RACE IN THIS EVENT
100cc “Battle on the Bayou” sponsored by BA Motorsports and Northwest Maico CZ. (no 125cc’s) This is a three-moto race. On Saturday, Moto 1 during half-time break; Moto 2 last race, Moto 3 on Sunday during intermission. Trophy Presentation 30 minutes after Sunday’s final PVMX results are posted. Registration Fee $75 for both days. You must participate in all three motos for trophy. Thanks to Bubba Dennis, BA Motorsports and Alan Brown with Northwest Maico CZ for their generous sponsorship for these races. You won’t want to miss this race.
Scott Sears is restoring a trails bike for the 2019 raffle bike project for 2019. Raffle tickets are $10 and will be available at the races.
Jay Estes, Jay’s Floors, will also be donating another great prize.
Raffle ticket sales benefit Jefferson Railway and Wetlands Foundation as we support youth activities in Jefferson and Diamond Don Racing to underwrite entertainment activities at the race.
