COVID-19 UPDATE
All events will be limited to capacity and facemask mandates that comply with Governor Abbott’s and Marion County Judge Leward J. LeFleur’s latest orders. Participate at your own risk. We are not responsible for illness or injury. Patrons must abide by all posted rules and procedures throughout our properties. When participating in any of these events, you may not be able to social distance 6-feet from other people outside your party. Therefore, we strongly recommend wearing face masks for everyone 10 years and older. We do not provide face masks so please bring your own. Your health and safety are important to us. Our staff has a heightened sense of awareness of the importance of maintaining hygienic standards to meet CDC, TDSHS, and OSHA requirements.

Special train narration commemorating The Jessie Allen Wise Garden Club’s 74th Jefferson Pilgrimage. Enjoy the unique wildlife and wetlands of a ride along the Big Cypress Bayou to include stop at the alligator pit. NOTE: Historic Jefferson Railway WILL NOT be conducting The Great Locomotive Chase this weekend – that event has moved to May 28-30, 2021 as our re-enactors and owners have conflict on the calendar and won’t be able to attend. Diamond Don RV Park is open to the public and re-enactors. Bring out the RV and spend the weekend. Train tickets available online.

Come experience the re-enactment of The Andrews Raid, the Civil War’s most gripping railroad story. The Train Battle of Port Jefferson joins the skirmish as a replica ironclad gunboat fires its cannons on the banks of the Big Cypress Bayou River. See the Living History Camps along the river and the North and South battle around the train and gunboat. Re-enactors welcome at the Diamond Don RV Park. Ambush, the premier party band of the ARK-LA-TEX, is the finest
entertainment in the area with the best selection of music from the 80’s.
On Saturday, 3:00-6:00, 8 Track Band, a classic rock and country band, will
play music from the 70’s and some 80’s. Stompbox will play on Saturday,
6:30-10:00, and is not your run-of-the-mill rock cover band. The guys have
been rocking the local Shreveport/Bossier music scene over the last 30+
years and will play rock music from the 80’s and 90’s

Diamond Don’s 19th Annual AHRMA International Vintage Motocross
International AHRMA Vintage Motocross which includes Dual Sport Event on roads throughout NE Texas on Wednesday and Thursday, Cross Country and Trials on Friday, Vintage Motocross on Saturday with Post-Vintage on Sunday. 100cc and XR200cc Revenge races on Saturday and Sunday. NEW THIS YEAR: Saturday evening – vintage dirt track. The weekend will be full of motocross legends. Come out and see Brad Lackey, Steve Wise, Trampas Parker and his son, Ricky and brother Heith, Trey Jorski, Guy Cooper, JoJo and brother, Ron, Johansen and event legend Billy Grossi. Be sure to watch for the Diamond Don Racing Team, a full contingent of very fast racers. Vintage friendly motocross track at Diamond Don RV Park with great spectator viewing areas. More than 1000 people from all over the world turn out for this event. Open to the public – gate fees apply.

3rd Annual Jefferson Antique Tractor Show
Tractor Show: Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; early registration on Friday.
The main streets in Jefferson will be closed to traffic to accommodate antique tractors, antique trucks, working and stationary antique engines. Swap meet vendors welcome. Event includes tractor parade, slow tractor race and lots of unique awards. Setup early on Friday 1:00-7:00. Free admission to the public and exhibitors.

37th Land O’ Pines Norton Owners Association Rallye and Bike Show
The rallye draws more than 300 people displaying over 150 of the finest vintage motorcycles anywhere in the country. Join us at Diamond Don’s RV Park & Event Center which is just one mile outside of Jefferson, Texas. Participate in Field Events, display your bike in show and ride in the Rolling Concours. Come enjoy a weekend full of great entertainment and fun. Open to the public – gate fees apply.

For a rip-roaring good time, goblin up tickets to the Halloween Express, a family-friendly event for ages 2-92. Narrated Day and Evening Trains. The Halloween Express will have vignettes along the railroad track featuring “Monsters from the Deep”. You will ride through the woods aboard a gas-powered antique narrow-gauge train, listening to the story-teller in this 40-minute trip excursion. You may see a ghostly spirit, monster or Bigfoot emerge from the swamplands of East Texas. While there may be a startle or two, this is not a scary train ride. $12 plus tax, lap children free.

Passengers will enjoy vignettes along the beautiful Big Cypress Bayou River as they hear the story of Christmas. Evening train will include lighted vignettes. This is NOT the Rail of Lights Train – there will NOT be lights all along the track. The trains are a nice ride along the Bayou to enjoy the wetlands, river views, vignettes and story-telling.

Blast into the New Year aboard the New Year’s Express. The ride aboard an antique narrow-gauge gas locomotive departs each day at 12:30 and 2:30. Passengers will enjoy vignettes along the beautiful Big Cypress Bayou River as they hear the story of New Year’s around the World. Each of the trains will feature beverages, noisemakers and a simulation of the New Year’s Eve Ball dropping in Times Square followed five authentic cannons firing dramatic “dragons’ breath”. This is NOT the Rail of Lights Train – there will NOT be lights all along the track. The trains are a nice ride along the Bayou to enjoy the wetlands, river views, vignettes and story-telling.
